Elementary School Curriculum

Designed for grades 3–5, this hands-on curriculum introduces students to robot control, mechanics, teamwork, and creative problem-solving through movement-based activities and interactive challenges. Robots are pre-programmed, allowing students to explore robotics concepts without prior coding experience.

Introduction

What is a robot? Students watch a quick demo and learn that robots follow instructions.
Build
15 min
Students attach Loader, Push, Beetle, or Forklift mechanisms to Maqueen robots.
Practice Control
10 min
Students learn to move forward, turn, stop, and activate attachments.
Challenge
25 min
Teams complete hands-on missions such as pushing, lifting, dumping, or navigating.
Wrap-Up
5 min
Each group shares what worked, what was difficult, and what they improved.
